Through the “ACT2GETHER” programme, we strengthen partnerships between children and adults, empowering them to collaborate in improving the lives of children.
1. Purpose
To ensure that children’s perspectives and voices are incorporated into the decision-making processes that affect their lives.
To provide valuable insights, feedback, and recommendations on relevant policies, programmes, and services to children.

3. CAG form
-Chairperson
Elected from within the groups to lead meetings, represent the group externally, and ensure adherence to the mandate.
-Members
Participate actively in meetings, provide input on agenda items, and engage in discussions and decision-making.
4. CAG Membership Criteria
- Children aged 10-18 who are interested in contributing to the group’s goals, and are willing to improve their skills and qualities such as self esteem, leadership personality, voluntarism.
- Adhering to UEF Safeguarding policy and code of conduct.
- Attending and participating in all meetings and UEF activities.
- Interested candidates are encouraged to fill an application form available at UEF.
5. Objectives
-Representation
Ensure a diverse representation of children from different backgrounds and experiences.
-Advocacy
Advocate for children’s rights and well-being in various forums
-Engagement
Promote active and meaningful participation of children in decision-making processes.
-Feedback
Offer constructive feedback and recommendations on policies, programmes, and services impacting children.
-Awareness
Raise awareness about issues affecting children within the community and broader society.
-Volunteerism
Children volunteer to serve causes that are important to them.
