Today, the Executive Director of Learning for a Well-Being Foundation (L4WB Foundation), Mr. Dominic Richardson, and Ms. Edda Olsson , together with the Executive Director of the Universal Education Foundation, Dr. Asaad Ramlawi, met with His Excellency the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Amjad Barham, the Deputy minister Dr. Nafe’ Assaf, the Assistant Deputy minister for Student Affairs Dr. Sadeq Al-Khudour, and the Director General of Comprehensive School Health, to discuss the project “Act 2gether for Child’s Rights and Well-Being.”

The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the project’s implementation, which resulted in the execution of student-led initiatives in 55 public schools across all Directorates of Education in various governorates. These initiatives were designed and implemented by students themselves and focused on addressing children’s needs, particularly their right to education, play, and psychosocial well-being, contributing to improved access to a safe and well-being-life.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education commended the close collaboration and joint efforts with the Universal Education Foundation, underscoring the vital role of student-led initiatives in empowering students and actively engaging them in addressing their own issues and needs within the targeted schools.

The meeting also addressed future plans aimed at ensuring the sustainability of the implemented student initiatives and expanding their scope to include additional public schools across various governorates.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Education and Higher Education honored the L4WB Foundation in recognition of its role and continued support for the children of Palestine.
