The Universal Education Foundation jointly with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, held today the closing conference for student initiatives under the title “Student Innovators”, as part of the project “Act2gether for Child Rights and Well-being.”
The conference was attended by H.E. Prof. Amjad Barham, Minister of Education and Higher Education, along with ministry staff, representatives of national partners, and the private sector, and representatives of school students (Student Parliaments).” .
The event featured a documentary film showcasing a selection of initiatives implemented by students from the 58 participating schools. In addition, members of the Student Parliament presented highlights of their initiatives and achievements.
A panel discussion was also held under the theme “What Have the Initiatives Added to Students?”, focusing on the impact of these initiatives in shaping students’ personalities and developing their skills.
The conference brought together over 350 participants, including ministry staff and students, partner institutions, members of the Foundation’s steering committee, and the Children’s Advisory Group.
Participants expressed their appreciation at this achievement, emphasizing the importance of supporting children, encouraging their active participation, and expanding such initiatives to schools across the country.
The conference concluded with the honoring of all contributors to the success of these initiatives through the distribution of awarding honorary shields and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts and contributions.
