The Universal Education Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, organized a follow up workshop on monitoring and evaluation of the student initiatives under the project “Act2gether for Child Rights & Well-being”.
The workshop aimed to present the pre- and post-training survey’s result of student parliaments training, discuss mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating initiatives implemented in the targeted schools, explore ways to enhance the sustainability and development of these initiatives, and exchange experiences and success stories among the educational team.
The Executive Director of UEF, Dr. Asaad Al-Ramlawi; representatives from MoE (the Deputy Assistant for Student Affairs, Dr. Sadeq Al-Khaddour; the Director General of Directorate, Mr. Mohammad Al-Hawash; and the Director General of Holistic Health, Dr. Ahmad Si‘arah were participated in the workshop, in addition to, they were joined by heads of educational counseling departments, school principals, and school counselors from the targeted schools.
The participants were divided into working groups to discuss monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, ways to enhance sustainability, and the main challenges faced along with possible solutions.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants came up with practical recommendations that will contribute to ensuring the sustainability of the initiatives and strengthening success stories.
